Building Community Virtual Career Symposium Session I

The Virtual Symposium is an opportunity to learn from leading experts in their fields as well as new professionals in their careers. Come hear about interesting opportunities. It is important that we actively participate in building our communities, especially in the Black Community that has been historically underserved. We must all do our part, and all jobs are critical to building strong communities. Come to explore diverse careers to understand first-hand what they entail and if the area could be the right opportunity for you to build a strong career in and support your family. This conversation and support is more important now more than ever. Even those job opportunities that don't require a college degree are valuable options that our program will highlight.

How does this program benefit you:

-Increases your awareness of job, pay and access

-Furthers your career goals, if you are uncertain about your future career and ability to support yourself and family

- Get access to community service hours and/or scholarship opportunity to cover educational expenses/fees

-Elevate career goals and expectations by learning about career paths you have never heard about or considered

-Gain support from a trusted community of leaders willing to invest their time by sharing what they know with others interested in excelling into their future.

All are welcome to attend.
